Powerful Immigration Poster
Riverway Law commissioned an illustrated A3 poster to be displayed outside a prominent chain grocey store. The goal was to visualise the emotional and legal weight of deportation, particularly for individuals raised in the UK without British citizenship. I created a hand drawn digital illustration to powerfully depict this reality, supported by urgent, accessible copy in a clean, modern layout.
The poster combines expressive imagery with clean typography to balance emotional impact and professionalism. I used muted tones, symbolic composition, and a restrained palette to evoke fear, uncertainty, and the importance of legal guidance. This project demonstrates my ability to communicate serious social issues through thoughtful, hand-crafted visuals, helping a legal brand stand out with clarity, empathy, and artistic boldness.
“Powerful and beautifully illustrated – the poster stands out while staying true to our message. It presents difficult truths clearly and visually. A rare mix of sensitivity and strong visual storytelling.”
– Fahad Ansari, Director of Riverway Law
