Father’s day cricket themed card celebrating pakistani heritage
Inclusivitwee, a greeting card brand focused on cultural inclusion, commissioned me to illustrate a Father’s Day card aimed at Pakistani dads. The brief combined two key themes: traditional fatherhood and a love for cricket. I designed a character that celebrates both a warm, nostalgic depiction of a Pakistani father proudly wearing classic cricket whites. The illustration speaks to identity, sport, and affection in a relatable, culturally resonant way.
Illustrated digitally, the artwork blends charming character design with culturally specific details that make the card stand out. I used a soft yet vibrant colour palette and a textured finish to add warmth and authenticity. This project reflects my skill in culturally inclusive illustration and my ability to translate everyday love and humour into designs that connect meaningfully with underrepresented audiences.
“I absolutely loved the illustration! it captured the spirit of our brand and the cultural warmth we aim to represent. The card has been a hit with our customers and filled a much needed gap in the market. Beautiful work!”
