Film Festival Campaigns
The Arab British Centre commissioned me to create the branding and visual assets for Safar, their annual Arab Film Festival. Drawing inspiration from vintage Arab movie posters, I designed a vibrant, retro-style brochure and social media content to reflect the energy of the festival. The visuals celebrated Arab cinema through rich colour palettes, expressive layouts, and bold design, helping the festival establish a distinctive visual presence in the UK arts scene.
For the following edition, I was brought back to develop a cleaner, more contemporary look that aligned with a new wave of modern Arab films. I used strong typography, layered colours, and curated film stills to create a refined yet expressive aesthetic. This project highlights my ability to evolve a visual identity over time while staying rooted in cultural storytelling and the client’s creative direction.
